Shark Tank India Judges list out: Exciting news for fans of the popular business reality TV show Shark Tank India – Season 4 is all set to premiere on January 6, 2024. Over the seasons, Shark Tank India has seen an evolving panel of judges, each bringing unique expertise to the table.
In Season 1, there were 7 judges, which expanded to 10 judges in Season 2, with the addition of 3 new faces. By Season 3, the panel further grew to 12 judges, adding 2 more to the lineup. Now, in Season 4, the number of judges has been reduced to 10, with 2 new judges joining the show, while a few familiar faces from earlier seasons will no longer be part of the panel.
Shark Tank India, aired on Sony Entertainment Television, is the Indian version of the famous American show Shark Tank. The show features entrepreneurs presenting their business ideas to a group of investors or sharks, who decide whether to invest in their ventures.
Season 1, which ran from December 20, 2021, to February 4, 2022 registered 62,000 applicants, and Season 2, from January 2, 2023, to March 10, 2023 saw increase in numbers with 85000 applicants tried to get featured on the reality show. The second season introduced Amit Jain, while Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh were not seen as Shark Tank India Judges.
Similarly, Season 3, started from January 22, 2024, saw six new sharks joining the panel – Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, Azhar Iqubal of Inshorts, Ritesh Agarwal of OYO Rooms, Radhika Gupta of Edelweiss MF, Varun Dua of ACKO, and Ronnie Screwvala of UpGrad.
In Season 1 of Shark Tank India, 65 deals were promised, but only 28 deals (40%) were finalized. Out of the ₹40 crore investment commitments, only ₹17 crore was actually invested by July 12, 2025.
In Season 2, the judges committed investments worth ₹67.15 crore, and by the end of the season, they had invested ₹81.16 crore into several innovative and creative business ideas.
Season 3 saw the highest numbers yet, with ₹78.26 crore invested across 50 episodes and 150 business pitches. Adding it all up, the judges have invested a total of approximately ₹176.42 crore across the first three seasons.
Given the increasing success rate of Shark Tank startups and the addition of more prominent sharks from big companies on the panel, we can expect even higher investments in the upcoming season. The stage is set for Shark Tank India to reach new heights in empowering entrepreneurship.
Adding to the excitement, the Shark Tank India Judges 2025 list is out, revealing a refreshed lineup with some new faces. Season 4 welcomes two new judges, Kunal Bahl and Viraj Bahl, who bring fresh perspectives to the panel.
